Kerem Bürsin is preparing a new film: Çevrimdışı Aşk, which could be translated as Love without connection. This time we will not see him in front of the cameras – that we know for the moment – but it is a project produced by his own company, Braveborn. The actor who has risen to fame in our country after the success of Love is in the air has made very good friends with the team of the Turkish soap opera and his director, Altan Dönmez, will be in charge of the feature film.
The actor, whom we have known in Spain for his television love story with Hande Erçel, is developing other aspects of his career.
Çevrimdışı Aşk is based on the eponymous book by Sebnem Burcuoglu, a writer from Turkey who has already had some success with her novels. She is the creator of Kocan Kadar Konus, which spawned a comedy film in 2015 – known in English as the Husband Factor – which did very well at the box office. In her adaptation to the big screen, she will act as a screenwriter, as she already did with her previous book.
The story centers on a man determined to make a career out of the aggressive business world of Istanbul. But his life is turned upside down when he is forced to move to a small town on the Turkish coast. There he will meet a girl who will become the love of his life, but first he will have to accept several changes.
As we say, it is not yet known if Bürsin will be the protagonist of the film, since none of the names that will make up the cast have been confirmed. According to rumors, it is possible that he will give way to another actor to lead the story, although he may reserve a small role. For a new romantic comedy, surely Sen Çal Kapimi fans are looking forward to seeing him again as a heartthrob.
The news comes shortly after rumors of Bürsin’s possible departure from Love is in the air broke out. Fox has announced that it is renewing the series for 13 more episodes, with its broadcast until September. While Hande Erçel has already signed the extension and has managed to postpone the projects that he had in hand, his scene partner is not so clear. Apparently, the filming of the soap opera coincides with the recording of the fiction of a ‘streaming’ platform for which he would have signed.
