The movie ‘Juerga hasta el fin’ (‘This is the end’) showed a group of actors playing themselves trying to survive the apocalypse at James Franco’s home. Now Seth Rogen, who was making his directing debut with Evan Goldberg, has explained the incident he had with Emma Watson.
In an interview for the British edition of the GQ, Rogen confirmed that mishap that was rumored for a long time and that it involved the actress of the Harry Potter saga. He seems like he didn’t quite agree with filming a scene, so he left the filming set after refusing to be a part of that moment.
The actress refused to shoot a scene for the movie.
As we said, the movie was about six celebrities from Los Angeles who were trapped in Franco’s house after the apocalypse. At the end of the film, Danny McBride was presented as the cannibal and the actor Channing Tatum playing himself as well, but being a sex slave to the previous one, tied on all fours and wearing a leather mask. That was the moment the actress refused to shoot. Her appearance consisted of her arriving at Franco’s house, the boys welcomed her but finally, due to different mishaps, ‘Hermione’ ended up robbing them, as McBride’s character said.
The film was co-written by Rogen and Goldberg, following “Super Hot” in 2007 and “Super Smoked” a year later. As the director has confirmed, the incident is true Rogen, but there are no hard feelings.
“I don’t look back and think, ‘How dare you do that?’ You know, I think sometimes when you read something, when it comes to life, it doesn’t seem to be what you thought it was, “Rogen commented. “But it wasn’t a terrible end to our relationship. He came back the next day to say goodbye. He helped promote the movie. No hard feelings and I couldn’t be happier with the final outcome of the movie.”
Also the scene changed thanks to the objections of Watson “He was probably right. It was probably more fun the way we ended up doing it,” commented Rogen.
